             abstract = "The objective of this work was to establish the spectral behavior 
                         of bean submitted to different nitrogen doses applied during its 
                         development. A completely randomized experimental design (DIC) 
                         with five treatments (0, 60, 100, 200 and 300 kg ha-1 of N) and 10 
                         replicates was used in the experiment at the Universidade Estadual 
                         de Maring{\'a} (UEM). Cultivate IPR Tangar{\'a}, in a 
                         greenhouse, with one seed per pot. The readings were carried out 
                         with the portable Spectral Radiometer Fieldspec Jr 3, together 
                         with the ASD Probe Plant accessory, periodically being established 
                         at 20, 27, 30, 33, 36 and 48 days after the emergency (DAE), 
                         (07/Oct, 17/Oct, 20/Oct, 23/Oct and 04/Nov/2014 respectively) and 
                         the first five evaluations were done before flowering and the 
                         sixth evaluation when 100% of the plants had already flowered. As 
                         a result, it was observed that the spectral behavior of the bean 
                         is altered with different doses of nitrogen, mainly in the visible 
                         region of the spectrum, being more evidenced at 36 and 48DAE and 
                         with higher responses when applied low doses of N. After 
                         flowering, there were Spectral response in the near infrared 
                         region.",
